A few uploads

I uploaded a few clips today. They are from the show that aired May 31, 2003.
Some of that particular show I already posted, so there were not too many to post. Hopefully stuff I posted today I haven't already. After 1000 it gets mixed up sometimes.

New Podcasts

For people that don't know, Ricky is doing a new 3-part podcast series. The first two are out now - Guide to Medicine and Guide to Natural History. Ricky is charging a quid for these, I nicked them for free.

Obviously I am a big fan of Ricky, Steve, and Karl. Presumably, with my listening experience, I could be considered a leading expert on their radio/podcast work. With that said, I'm sad to say, this is not their finest work. The best word I can use to describe it is contrived.

Admittedly, Medicine is better than Natural History, but it all feels so fake. It seems to me like Karl wants to buy another house and therefore Ricky bunged him into the studio to make some more cash.

More XFM clips to be posted sometime, right now I can't be bothered.

Update

Right then. After close to one month off, I've started posting more clips. The clips now are from a special broadcast the lads did on BBC Radio 2, on December 31, 2008. This episode was 3 hours long instead of the traditional 2, so I have a few more clips than normal to put him. All told, they will be up by Friday.

I say it pretty much every time, but this episode is one of their best. The sermon Karl does is great, it's great to hear about his computer incident again, and trust me on this one, the Rockbusters and Monkey News are brilliant!

Alright?

Alright? To appease some punters, I will keep this little blog, so people know what's going on with the videos on youtube.

Today is January 6, 2008. We have 1042 videos uploaded, 1012 subscribers, and 3,226,840 video views.

Today the video entitled "No evidence of him being Scottish" was taken down for copyright violation. The clip played some of the song 'Killing of Georgie' by Rod Stewart. This is Karl's favorite song and he thought Georgie was Scottish, which Ricky proved there was no evidence of. Unfortunately, this video is no more.

Also, on November 20th, Victoria Lucas contacted me. Simply put, there was a video posted 'Vicky Lucas looks like Bo Selecta'. Vicky wasn't happy with it, so I took it down, because I am a nice guy. If you want a copy of the letter she sent me, message me on youtube and I'll forward it to you there.
